I started my private counseling practice with one deep desire~to provide a safe place for mental health counseling, support and wellness to the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC and all those who love them.

Hi. I'm Kara. My pronouns are she/her. I grew up in Idaho in a small town in the southeast corner of the state. I survived my Mormon upbringing, not unscathed, but wiser than before.
After enduring 17 years of full-time state government employment, I have finally found my way home to this place where my heart belongs. I am a queer, person-centered Humanist with an intersectional anti-oppression trauma-focused lens. I believe in Social Justice, Human Rights and Science.
I am a complex-trauma survivor. I have done, and I am still doing, my own hard work. And I am here to help you do yours.
